# Competitor Ad Teardown (public ads only — so you do not copy them)

**SKU:** `competitor-ad-teardown`
**Price:** $19 USD, paid in USDC on Base
**Format:** 75-minute protocol + grids + steal-nothing filter + fictional library notes
**Audience:** English B2B/indie operators who see rivals in **public ad libraries** and want to write *different* organic copy.

**This pack is not an ads playbook.** It does not tell you to spend, to clone hooks, to buy lookalikes, or to scrape private data. Distinct from `competitor-teardown` (product pages). Here you look at **public ads** only to decide what you will **refuse** to sound like.

---

## What you get

1. How to use official public libraries (Meta Ad Library, etc.) without gray-hat tools.
2. Grids: promise, proof style, offer math, comment stance — paraphrase, no paste of their copy.
3. A difference sheet that outputs three sentences for *your* owned channel.
4. Fictional notes: **LampHour** vs public-ad patterns of fictional **PingDesk**.

---

## 0. Ground rules

- Public libraries and ads shown to you in a feed you use. No fake accounts to evade bans.
- Do not copy headlines, creative, or unique phrases. Paraphrase.
- Time-box 75 minutes. Then you write your organic note — or you write nothing.
- If this exercise makes you want to just boost a clone, stop.
- No spend advice.

**My product, one line:** `________________________________`
**Owned channel I will write on:** `________________________________`
**Rival whose public ads I will look at:** `________________________________`
**Library URL I will use:** `________________________________`

---

## 1. Collect 3 ads, not 30 (20 minutes)

| # | Date seen | Format | What I notice in 3 seconds (paraphrase) | What is missing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | | | | |
| 2 | | | | |
| 3 | | | | |

If you cannot find three public ads, **end the exercise**. Do not hunt dark posts through unofficial scrapers. Your difference might be: you do not advertise.

---

## 2. Promise / proof / price / path (25 minutes)

Do not paste their sentences. Columns: Ad 1 / Ad 2 / Ad 3 / Pattern I refuse. Rows: who they name, job in the first line, proof style, number style (note if unverifiable), price visible, CTA type, comment bait.

Unverifiable numbers: write `unverified — I will not imitate`. Comment-to-get-the-doc: mark as spam-adjacent. You will not do this.

---

## 3. Steal-nothing filter (15 minutes)

1. They lean on [pattern]. I will not. `________________________________`
2. They hide [price / terms / who it's for]. I will show [x]. `________________________________`
3. A buyer who hates ads still needs [job]. I will say that on [owned channel] like this: `________________________________`

Three sentences you can post (organic). If sentence 1 still sounds like their hook, rewrite until a friend could not match it to their ad.

---

## 4. Optional anti-ad policy

```
We do not run paid acquisition for [SKU] as of [date].
If that changes, we will say so on this page.
We will not buy comments or fake waitlists.
```

You are allowed to never advertise.

---

## 5. Fictional notes — LampHour vs PingDesk ads

**Fictional.** PingDesk ads used a red countdown, 2,104 operators, comment LINK for a PDF. LampHour marks unverifiable count and comment-bait as refuse. Difference sentences: LampHour is a $12 markdown timer ritual. Price is on the first screen. I do not ask you to comment for the file. They posted once on their own account. They did not spend to imitate PingDesk. No $5k claim.

---

## Anti-list

- [ ] Re-shooting their creative with your logo
- [ ] Pasting their headline into your organic post
- [ ] Fake social-proof numbers because they did
